Slow Cooker Gammon Joint
A simple and delicious Sunday roast serving 6 people that cooks itself while you get on with your day!
How to make
1
Rub the Gammon
Place gammon into the slow cooker. Rub 75g of brown sugar all over the joint, then pour the remaining 75g over the top.
2
Add Liquids
Pour 500ml cider around the base. Add bay leaves and peppercorns to infuse the glaze with aromatics.
3
Slow Cook
Cover and cook on high for 4 hours. This allows the sugar to glaze and the cider to tenderise the meat perfectly.
4
Serve
Pair with mini roast potatoes and veg, or on warmer days, try new potatoes and a fresh garden salad.
