Slow Cooker Gammon
Slow Cooker Gammon Joint
A simple and delicious Sunday roast that cooks itself while you get on with your day!
How to make
1
Rub the Gammon
Place your gammon joint into the slow cooker. Rub 75g of brown sugar all over the meat, then pour the remaining 75g over the top.
2
Add Liquids & Aromatics
Pour in 500ml of cider around the base of the joint. Add in 2 bay leaves and 10 peppercorns to infuse the liquid with flavor.
3
Slow Cook
Place the lid on and leave to cook on high for 4 hours. This allows the sugar to glaze the meat and the cider to keep it perfectly tender.
4
Serve
Serve with mini roast potatoes and vegetables, or for a warmer day, pair it with new potatoes and a fresh garden salad.
